The Auction for Education is Saturday, April 18, 2015 at EverAfter Banquet Hall starting at 5:00 pm.  Dinner is at 6:30 pm. LIVE auction is at 8:00 pm. 

Tickets are $30 per person and table sponsors are $400 for 8 reserved seats.

All school families are expected to contribute time, talent or goods to the event.  Alice Krzysik and Laura Boge are the co-chairs.

 Pancake Breakfast
This Sunday after the 8:00 and 11:00 mass the Knights of Columbus will be hosting a pancake breakfast.
 
Catholic Schools Week
Monday is our last day to celebrate Catholic Schools Week and we saved the best activity for last – Pajama Day and candy (winning combination)!  Weather permitting - Please pack snow pants and winter gear if we are going outside.
 
Parking Lot
You may have noticed a few extra digging equipment and plumber hanging around the school. We learned that there is a blockage in our waste pipe that is located under the parking lot.  We believe the problem should be solved today but the parking lot and the small field playground will not be repaired until spring.  Once the holes are filled, our little ones can use the playground but it will muddy until grass can be planted.
 
Candy Sale
Candy Bars are coming home today. There are only a few weeks for this sale, because we wanted to get this fundraiser in before the start of Lent.  All unopened boxes and/or money need to be turned in no later than Wednesday, Feb. 18.  Thank you for supporting St. Rose School!
 
Auction
Thank you to those who attended the Auction Meeting!  We had a fantastic turnout.  Although many auction donors have been assigned, there are many more businesses that we need families to contact.  Kelly will be contacting those families to request their help soliciting donations.
 
Attached are the donations letters and ticket request form.  Please have your letter filled in with your contact information when approaching a potential donor. Ticket request forms must be returned by March 27 to take advantage of the $10.00 discount.
 
Building Administrator
I cannot believe how quickly the last two weeks have passed. It has been a privilege to work with such a great staff and to interact with your child.  Unfortunately, I need to spend some time at the diocesan office doing my other job. On the days I am not in the building, Mrs. Margorie Haas or Mr. Steve Youngs will be. I am so grateful to have their help. Mrs. Haas will be here on Tuesday, February 3. I hope you stop by to say hi.

Feb. 4 – Dismissal @ 11:30 – Bus riders will be leaving at Noon.
Feb. 13 – Dismissal @ 11:30 – Morning busses only – Teacher Professional Development
Feb. 16 – No School – Mid-winter Break
Feb. 27 - Dismissal @ 11:30 –Bus riders will be leaving at Noon.
