Renting a bus for the Cedar Point Trip a. Cost is $1,909.25 iii. Look for this event in November 2012 b. Christmas Bazaar raised $5,100 i. Thank you to Marcia Mellen & her team ii. Thank you all who 1. donated items 2. worked craft bees 3. volunteered time 4. made crafts 5. gave kids money to buy presents a. Kids’ raised over $500 c. Christmas Play DVD being sent home in Report Cards i. Donated to every St. Rose school family by Parents’ Club ii. If additional copies are needed, a small donation is requested d. St. Rose Auction for Education i. Saturday, April 14th @ 5:30 pm – Casual dress ii. Tickets on sale in school office 1. Tickets are $25.00 per person a. Buy 1 ticket this month and 1 next month 2. Table Sponsor a. $300 for Gold which includes 8 tickets to event b. $100 for Silver c. Under $100 for Bronze 3. Tickets for Ipad 2 being raffled a. $10.00 for one ticket or 3 for $25.00 b. 6. New Business a. January 20th – Soul meal for 6th grade made by the Newton Family i. Celebrating MLK day b. January 20th – 5th & 6th Grade to compete in annual St. Rose Spelling Bee i. Winners go on to compete in County wide Spelling Bee c. Swimming for 2nd thru 6th Grades i. We need volunteers during swimming 12:15 pm to 1:45 pm ii. 6th grade – January 30th ONLY iii. 5th grade – January 24th & 30th & February 3rd & 9th iv. 4th grade – January 31st & February 6th, 10th & 16th v. 3rd grade – January 26th & February 7th, 13th & 21st vi. 2nd grade – January 27th & February 2nd, 14th, & 28th vii.
